Our story
At TransitionHERO, our goal is to create positive environmental impact. We (Petra and Stef) met several years ago while working for industrial clients at a traditional engineering firm, and realized that we have a common vision. A vision that the industry needs to undergo a transition in order to enable clean production processes and a sustainable supply chain. Enabling such a transition would require a combination of innovative technology, strong business cases as well as the right people and mindset. So, we put all this together and founded TransitionHERO.
With our multidisciplinary team, we have experience in optimizing energy systems and designing various process plants. We have supported startups in scaling up, built innovation programs in the industrial environment and understand what it takes – both the challenges and opportunities – to make those a success.

The penguin story
Our logo is a fast-moving penguin. Why? Green Technologies are like penguins. They look cute, and everybody loves them, but their way of walking is a bit waddly. They don’t move forward quickly and easily. However, if you put a penguin in the water, they appear to be the best swimmers. Green technologies need to be in the right business case (environment), like penguins need to be in the water. Once there are bubbles, you know they have enough speed to catch the fish.
